Report

I have spent time organising the paper filing system to make it easier to find information. I ordered cardboard folders for the purposes, which are cost effective. I have also had the free offer of a three drawer filing cabinet from Caistor Town Council to house the new system and stationery.

I have attended ad hoc staffing meetings and spent 2 hours with the prospective replacement Clerk informing them of the work involved as a Clerk.

I have sent the maps which Sills and Betteridge required for the land registration and also the value and size of the allotments.

There seems to be a lot of issues with the Parish Rooms which are on my list of tasks. Window cleaning, fire extinguisher bracket, PAT testing, Legionnaires Disease Testing, wobbly tap in kitchen.

I have a comprehensive list of tasks to perform which I have been assigned or were handed over. These things take time and I am gradually working through them.

I have made a template for existing key holders to sign for both the Parish Rooms and Notice boards. New key holders with sign when they receive the key.

I have notified ELDC of the resignation of Cllr Morgan and have received the Notice of Election. The ELDC and Parish Website have been update.

Insurance – I am still awaiting a reply from Zurich regarding questions the Chair has raised. I have sent a reminder email.

Correspondence

An email from Cllr Richard Davies was received 19th July 2023 and forwarded to Councillors 24th July 2023. I had said that this would be an agenda item, however, if Councillors had chosen to do an individual reply this would negate it.

Councillors will have the opportunity to make known their wishes at the Council Meeting.
